THE OXBRIDGE YORKSHIRE ECB COUNTY PREMIER CRICKET LEAGUE

Further to my election at the 2007 Annual General Meeting I look forward to working with my colleagues on the Committee of the League and will doubtless have to draw on their vast experience in administering the League.

I also hope to establish the views of the Clubs on the way forward for the League and it’s Clubs and to this end I will meet each one individually over the winter of 2007-2008.

Hopefully there will be a large degree of commonality between the Clubs and goals which are achievable, although some will inevitably be harder to achieve than others.

I look forward to the summer of 2008 and would wish all sides in the League well for the coming season with the standard of cricket in the League being of it’s usual high standard and that the competing Clubs and Captains continue to play the game within both The Spirit of Cricket and The Laws of Cricket.
